As a Site Reliability Engineer at Cin7, you'll be responsible for supporting the applications' build, release, deployment, and configuration activities as well as assisting with diagnosing customer issues. You will have a key role in consulting with the wider engineering and product management teams to ensure optimal platform performance and stability. This position is responsible for isolating and solving user and platform issues, as well as planning and executing platform related project work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, configuration and management of Azure Services predominantly PaaS and networking services.
- Provisioning resources using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform).
- Creation, deployment and management of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Management of Cin7s engineering and security tooling (Azure Devops, Github, Jira, etc…)
- Reporting and Dashboarding of information relevant to Cin7 Operations.
- Work closely with all departments to drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions which align with CIN7's strategies.
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions and appropriate metrics to demonstrate performance and operational efficiency.
- Be part of an on call roster.
Competencies & role/education requirements
- 5+ Years experience in Azure based cloud infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance.
- Experience with Observability tools, (Datadog, Azure Monitor, etc…)
- Networking knowledge within the Azure platform - including Firewalls, VNETs, and an understanding of zero trust.
- Proven experience in creating secure pipelines to automate deployment and release.
- Understanding of Content Delivery Network Deployments and distributed caching
- Practical experience with infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform) and scripting (Powershell is ideal)
- Expertise with Azure is essential.
