About the role
We are looking for a talented and ambitious marketing leader to help drive our expansion into the Brazil market at Circle. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for ideating and coordinating the execution of our growth strategy, and go-to-market motion for the Brazil market. This is where strategy meets creativity, data paves the way for insights, and leadership sets the stage for market dominance.

This is a hands on role. While you will have support from the overall marketing team, you will be executing the day to day, and have full ownership over the results for this market (reading this should excite you). You are a natural critical thinker, organized, curious, and thrive in an action-biased, collaborative, results-driven environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about driving growth, is energized working in a product-led environment, loves being a marketing “generalist”, is excited by the opportunity to build from scratch, and thrives in a highly collaborative team environment. You are a key leader in the go-to-market team, and are driven by the team’s greater success.

This is a 100% remote role, and we have a strong preference for candidates residing in AMER (North/South America) time zones.

What you'll be doing

    • Hit MRR targets through owning and iterating our current growth strategies in the Brazil market -this would include managing our current “always-on” channels in this market; however the majority of this role will be testing, iterating, and building out new channels.
    • Creativity in Campaigns: Conceive and implement inventive and creative multi-channel growth campaigns.
    • Oversee the execution of go-to-market campaigns within the Brazil market: Work closely with our product marketing function to coordinate the Brazil go-to-market motion for key feature releases and customer campaigns.
    • Get into the data and share insights: Build out weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to provide the team with a pulse in terms of where we are tracking, what is working and what is not. Leverage data from multiple sources to uncover insights, inform new strategies, optimize campaign performance and recommend new channels.
    • Be the market owner: You will be the Brazilian market expert on Circle’s marketing team, understanding Brazil’s unique trends, especially within the creator economy.

What you’ll need to be successful

    • Strong alignment with our values. Find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet.
    • You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C1 / ILR Level 5, as well as Portuguese.
    • You have been working in B2B marketing for 8+ years, and have experience delivering on a revenue target. This has been ideally mostly at earlier stage growth companies.
    • You are excited to jump in and get things done. We are an early stage go-to-market team, and are looking for leaders who can both execute and lead.
    • Are a generalist, not just a specialist. You have an understanding of SEO, Paid Channels, Email Marketing, Affiliates, Partnerships, and more in order to craft a strategy. No one is expecting you to be an expert in the details of all areas of marketing, but you have a combination of relevant experience, plus a sense of when to lean on internal and external experts.
    • Have an interest in product marketing. You might see yourself more as a growth marketer, but you are skilled enough to fill in the gaps where needed.
    • Building an inbound product-led growth strategy excites you. Our funnel is 100% sourced by marketing through our product. <<Reading this makes you smile.
    • You know the value of operational efficiency. You understand that without solid execution, strategy is useless. Creating systems and structure for operational excellence are a big part of the value you bring.
    • Creator Economy Insight: Previous experience within the creator market sphere.
$110,000 - $120,000 a year
Cash compensation is a starting point, and we want all of our team members to be able to grow in their roles. In addition to equity, benefits and perks, our cash compensation is subject to an annual review and increase on a once per year basis on the hire date anniversary.
