The role will be responsible for set-up, build and development of the support and delivery operations of the global revenue operations organization. The revenue operations team is accountable for supporting the revenue objectives of Cision. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operational leadership and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across different regions.  As a senior member of the operations team, this individual will primarily support global revenue operations, and will be consulted and function as an advisor for all local activities in the development of Cision’s center of excellence. This is a fast-paced and evolving commercial environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work towards a deadline. The right candidate will possess superb leadership skills and the ability to work as a team, not only with sales management and their colleagues but cross-functionally across the organization to drive positive business outcomes. We are looking for someone to think analytically about the business, have a critical eye for detail, and have elevated expectations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop a roadmap for development of the center of excellence which aligns with business objectives. Drive optimal utilization of the team's resources and capabilities and deliver on operating margin goals/objectives.
    • Hire, recruit, and train the best talent in the marketplace to support maximizing talent and managing Cision’s objectives to maintain/improve operating margin. Create a collaborative and results-drive culture as either a direct manager or local-matrixed manager.
    • Set-up and support the creation of all key functions across Cision revenue operations including sales analytics, sales commissions, sales/business intelligence, deal desk/sales support administration, proposal management and other key operating teams.
    • Build our reporting and business intelligence capabilities with key team members to strengthen Cision sales reporting, forecasting accuracy and decision-making capabilities.
    • Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process, optimizing workflows and improving overall performance. Identify and build solutions solving business problem using the latest technologies.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance service delivery capabilities. Implement and maintain best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure the professional growth of team members. Mentor and manage revenue operations team members ensuring their growth and success. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.
    • Collaborate with global and regional leaders to build competency to manage the current and future demands.

Experience:

    • Twenty years plus of experience in sales/business operations, with a demonstrated history of improving sales productivity by providing data-driven insights, preferably in the software/technology industry.
    • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in a leadership capacity and supervising team members
    • Demonstrated experience in building, leading, and maintaining a global operations capability from concept to reality.
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
    • International exposure, particularly in US, EMEA and Asia Pacific markets
    • Data-driven mind-set with proven experience utilizing metrics & insights as tools for informed decision-making.
    • SaaS – Demonstrated leadership experience within cloud-native businesses, and a proven history of managing recurring revenue models.
    • A deep knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM system is required. Experience with leveraging technology to positively impact business performance is desired.
    • Deep experience with Business Intelligence tools, preferably PowerBI or Domo.
    • Proven experience leveraging reporting automation tools (AI, ML, RPA, etc.) to improve processes.
    • Proven experience leading transformation, business process improvement, business process management or process operations on a large scale. This individual will be proficient in program management and stakeholder management.
    • Proven ability in partnering skills and influencing without authority.
