Brandwatch is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the new business function, which plays a crucial role in generating and closing sales opportunities. You will work closely with the sales leadership team to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

    • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.  
    • Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure the team's success.  
    • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture focused on exceeding sales goals.

Strategy Development:

    • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement new business strategies aligned with overall business objectives.  
    • Identify market opportunities and define target segments to maximize sales potential.  
    • Analyze sales data and trends to drive continuous improvement and optimize sales processes.  

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other sales leaders, including field sales and channel partners, to maximize revenue generation and market penetration.  
    • Liaise with product management and marketing teams to provide feedback on market trends, customer requirements, and product enhancements.  

Pipeline Management:

    • Manage the new business pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring accurate forecasting.  
    • Implement strategies to accelerate the sales cycle and drive conversion rates.  
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer success and product development, to address customer needs and enhance the sales process.

Account Qualification and Opportunity Generation:

    • Oversee the generation of outbound prospecting efforts to identify potential sales opportunities.  
    • Establish and maintain effective lead generation and qualification criteria and processes.  
    • Work closely with marketing to ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and sales efforts.  

Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).  
    • Minimum of 5 years of similar experience.   
    • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the tech industry.  
    • Strong understanding of social media management and insights platforms is highly desirable.  
    • Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.  
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.  
    • Proficiency in sales CRM software and sales analytics tools.  
$120,000 - $240,000 a year
For Individuals based in New York Brandwatch is required to disclose a salary range for this role. The base compensation of $120,000 is specific to New York however base pay may vary depending on a range of factors. Brandwatch provides competitive commission targets of $120,000. OTE pay is uncapped.
