Account Executives (AE) play a huge role in the Brandwatch sales process. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to impact the growth of our business by closing new business deals. The role focuses on identifying client needs and showing them how the Brandwatch platform can work for them. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients to learn their current pain points with social media and sell our solution. This role covers the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to running demos and negotiating and closing your own deals.

What you'll do:

    • Call on new business, run demos and sell our solution
    • Actively build, maintain and grow your own pipeline from scratch
    • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to hand off
    • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets
    • Have a consultative approach
    • Be an absolute expert on our brand, business, and SaaS product
    • Stay up to date on news and understand the social landscape
    • Be a thought leader in our top verticals and educate yourself
    • Have an intelligent point of view on topics, storytelling sells

What you'll need:

    • 2-4 years proven sales success (mid-market SaaS experience)
    • Demonstrable experience in an end-to-end closing role
    • Experience selling to SMB, mid-market and commercial customers;Prior experience selling martech or SaaS products is desirable
    • Regional experience selling into APAC including Singapore
    • Formal training on sales methodologies would be a bonus - think Sandler, Challenger Sale, MEDDPICC, etc.
    • Strong social media knowledge is a must have. We don’t mind if you haven’t sold it, but being familiar with the key networks and being able to articulate the value of social media to business is essential
    • Fluent in written and spoken English
    • Team player attitude, eager to be part of an ambitious team
    • Exceptional ability to organise work and tasks
    • Strong forecasting skills and numeracy, know your numbers!
    • You are motivated to take on the challenge of new sales and are hungry to meet your goals
    • Ability to thrive in a performance oriented international environment with short or long sales cycles
    • Fluency in Tagalog, Bahasa or Malay would be of great value to you in this role and would align with our growth strategy
