As an Analyst you will:

    • Independently and collaboratively execute research, from set up (data collection) through to creating engaging and actionable narratives from insights.
    • Build a research/storytelling plan that maps to the brief, i.e. project objectives and timelines.
    • Lead client meetings about data and insights, including results delivery presentations.
    • Gather client requirements to scope small projects, with the possibility of contributing to and working towards scoping more complex ones.
    • Provide research-driven recommendations that map to clients' business goals.
    • Facilitate workshops to help clients use Brandwatch tools to derive insights.
    • Deliver technical training sessions for the team such as best practices on data cleaning or how to best leverage resources available.
    • Gain an understanding of the full range of Brandwatch products and learn when and how to confidently use them.
    • Stay up to date with changes in the Brandwatch tools, competitors and research industry.

Role requirements:

    • 4+ years of consumer research experience or data/statistical analysis, preferably with exposure to  social media research.
    • Business-, marketing- and social media-savvy
    • Expert in creating data visualizations, data storytelling, and creating a compelling story flow of report deliverables.
    • Confidence in business writing, client communication and presentation skills. Experience working directly with clients is a plus.
    • Ability to think like a client and make recommendations based on business objectives.
    • Technical aptitude for learning new software and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
    • A strong sense of personal accountability and solid project management skills.
    • Competency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides.
    • Familiarity with social research, Boolean searches, unstructured data, Brandwatch or similar software is a strong advantage. Full training in Brandwatch software will be provided.
    • Interest in or experience with AI is a plus.
    • Ability to work PST required.
$70,000 - $85,000 a year
For Individuals based in Colorado, Washington, New York, and California Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range of $70,000-85,000 is specific to Colorado, Washington, New York, and California, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
