We invest in our people through training and professional development and we empower them to grow their careers - because the most important measure of our success is yours. is the primary application used by Cision for CRM and CPQ activities.  The Global Salesforce Technology Lead plays a vital role in automating business processes on the Salesforce platform to support our continuing growth. You will participate in the prioritization, design, solution architecture review, and development of applications that are part of sprint cycles and projects.  You will be responsible for the overall Salesforce development roadmap and the continual prioritization of all Salesforce work.   

You will help us by:

    • Directly manage and build the Salesforce development team consisting of both Cision employees and outside contractors 
    • Work in an agile environment to develop high quality, well-tested solutions which meet/exceed the project timelines and objectives 
    • Contribute as a strong architect and technical lead, who can guide the team through implementing a variety of complex solutions 
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners for the definition, planning, modeling, governance, and implementation of Salesforce CRM capabilities 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to integrate CRM data and capabilities with other business systems such as billing, ERP and Cision products 
    • Work proactively to remove technical debt and security vulnerabilities 
    • Create technical, design and process documentation as necessary 
    • Manage technical delivery to ensure adherence to best practice and design principles 
    • Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture and mentor team members 
    • Lead by example; establish clear expectations for team members; set direction and priorities; ensure that work levels are balanced among all staff; resolve internal staff issues in a timely manner; keep staff informed of all appropriate information; builds effective team; delegates at appropriate level. 
    • Facilitate the development of staff by providing opportunities and support; provides] timely feedback on work product; regularly coach, evaluate, and recognize staff performance and accomplishments.

You'll be a good fit if you:

    • At least 8+ years of experience in global software development and deployment 
    • Must have 4+ years of experience with SFDC platform and partner ecosystem 
    • Experience developing solutions using SFDC technologies including Apex and SOQL 
    • Experiencing leading development and being responsible for delivery of multiple successful SFDC implementation projects 
    • Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Architect 
    • Experience working with large scale enterprise organization with front/back office 
    • Experience managing a development team 
    • Experience with Salesforce org merges and Lightning transitions is a plus 
    • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues 
    • Creativity & critical thinking 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
