We’re seeking an experienced and creative email marketing specialist with exceptional copywriting and organization skills to join our growth marketing team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to develop and execute effective B2B email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth for Brandwatch and Cision.

What you'll do:

    • Help to develop and implement an email marketing strategy aligned with our overall marketing goals and objectives.
    • Create compelling and engaging email content for a range of audiences and campaigns, including for lead generation and nurture, and customer expansion and retention. These activities could comprise: event and webinar promotion, product launches, content launches, seasonal campaigns, and more.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and effective initiatives.
    • Utilize Marketo for managing and maintaining email marketing campaigns, segmentation, and automation workflows within our email marketing platform.
    • You will be supported by our team lead for email plus Marketing Operations colleagues, however a strong understanding of marketing automation and the marketing funnel is essential.
    • Analyze email campaign performance metrics and conversion rates, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
    • Continuously optimize email campaigns based on A/B testing, data analysis, and industry best practices.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest email marketing trends, techniques, and tools to ensure our campaigns remain effective and compliant.
    • Ensure adherence to anti-spam laws, data privacy regulations, and email marketing best practices.
    • Work together with other members of the growth marketing team to deliver global campaigns – from creating landing pages to writing messaging that drives conversion across a range of touchpoints.

What we are looking for:

    • 3+ years of marketing experience ideally in email marketing or a related role – we’re looking for someone with relevant professional experience who can use their initiative and take ownership of projects from the off.
    • Outstanding copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive copy, putting yourself in the shoes of different target audiences.
    • Experience with Marketo, Eloqua, or equivalent platforms is essential.
    • Exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organization skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic business across a variety of projects at once.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, proactive in stakeholder/project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organization.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience interpreting data and optimizing campaigns based on insights.
    • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, automation, and deliverability.
    • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and anti-spam laws.
    • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and optimization techniques.
    • Creative, outcome-focused mindset and a passion for developing innovative and engaging email content that delivers results.

    • Nice to have:
    • Experience in B2B and/or SaaS marketing is a plus.
    • An additional language is not essential but is a plus since you will be helping to QA and support campaigns across other regions – in addition to English-speaking regions (French, Spanish, German, or Italian language skills would be desirable)
    • Experience with tools such as Salesforce, On24, Looker, GA4, WordPress, and Monday.com will be advantageous, although not mandatory.
