What We’re Looking For:
Our Product Manager will be responsible for bringing energy, commitment and high-quality management to Clash. This will require strong leadership as well as a roll-up-your sleeves, meticulous hands-on mentality with a strong sense of urgency. Coupled with a strong technical acumen, they must be able to simultaneously manage both engineering and design and communicate into a detailed product roadmap with reliable deadlines and deliverables.
We’re looking for a Product Manager that is able to command respect of the entire organization through leadership, intelligence, creativity, hard work, detail orientation and presence. Entrepreneurial, bold and comfortable with risks. Ability to be effective in a dynamic, fast paced environment with few resources and significant ambiguity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You will working with a team of 8-10 individuals including in-house and remote engineers, designers, analytics and community creating viral mobile products that delight content creators, engage users, and increase retention. We’re specifically looking for someone to help innovate our in-app monetization suite, as well as build engaging tools to connect creators and their fans on the platform.
Define, design, and execute the plan for Clash’s technical vision and product roadmap.
Develop organizational Objectives and Key Results and track progress of KPIs
Work with our design team and additional UI/UX designers to take roadmap items from planning through to ready for engineering.
Work with engineering groups to define priorities, schedules and resources needed.
Some Important Things To Note:
This is our first product hire. Which means, standards are high. There’s something very special about being the first product hire at a company like ours. We’re looking for you to own and scale our product teams by coaching and mentoring our current team members and inspiring them with a compelling vision & strategy and by recruiting additional top talent from your existing network. It’s hard to overstate the impact you’ll have on our product, design culture, and company trajectory. This should excite you just as much as it excites us. You should understand this and take this to heart.
- 2+ years of meaningful experience in a digital product management role
- 2+ years experience in a startup environment in a company that deeply values design and experience on mobile.
- Ideally, experience in social media, mobile payments, messaging, or community.
- Experience building a product from beta to scale. Light technical background.
- Experience in coding is a plus.
- A keen instinct for UX and UI Experience developing the long-term strategy for mobile platforms that translate into an achievable roadmap
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices
- A professional prioritizer - you can prioritize among competing opportunities, balance user voice with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
- Must have a demonstrated history of shipped products on mobile.
