Join us on our journey to give power to learners and unlock fulfilling careers that drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
What We’re Looking For:
Clasp is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager (APM) to drive product quality and support the execution of our roadmap. This hybrid role is perfect for someone early in their product career who also has a keen eye for user experience and quality assurance. You’ll work at the intersection of Product and Engineering—testing features before launch, documenting bugs, and helping ensure every release meets our high bar for usability and impact. You’ll grow by learning how to manage the product lifecycle end-to-end, while making immediate contributions through detailed QA, structured problem-solving, and user-centered thinking.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with Product and Engineering to test new features before they launch—catching bugs, inconsistencies, and UX gaps early.
- Write detailed test cases and contribute to a scalable QA strategy across the platform.
- Conduct structured QA for releases, including regression testing, exploratory testing, and user flow validation.
- Help define and prioritize product requirements based on user feedback, data, and cross-functional input.
- Join standups, sprint ceremonies, and product reviews as a key member of the agile team.
- Collaborate with Design to ensure the UI matches our design system and delivers a consistent experience.
- Support the creation of internal documentation and enablement materials for new feature launches.
- Monitor performance of launched features and help triage, manage, and resolve bugs post-release.
- As you grow: Take on ownership of product areas and lead feature development from concept to launch.
What You’ll Need:
- 1+ year of experience in a product, QA, business analyst, or operations role—ideally at a startup or in fintech/edtech.
- A sharp eye for detail and high standards for usability and product polish.
- Strong written communication skills—you can describe issues clearly and concisely.
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience navigating web apps and picking up new tools quickly.
- Proactive mindset—you notice things, speak up, and follow through.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Figma, Notion, or similar platforms.
- Bonus: Experience working with students, early-career talent, or financial consumer products.
What we give in return:
- Equity compensation: share in Clasp’s success and growth
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) and commuter benefits
- Flexible PTO and remote-first flexibility
- A collaborative, mission-driven team committed to impact
