As a Senior Test Analyst – Automation at HUB24, you’ll play a vital role in uplifting the quality of our fintech platforms through thoughtful and innovative automation practices.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain thoughtful, scalable automation for UI, API, and data testing
- Partner closely with developers, analysts, and product teams to ensure testable, high-quality outcomes
- Design and optimise test plans, frameworks, and environments to support seamless delivery
- Proactively identify and resolve issues in test execution, reducing flakiness and improving reliability
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, collaboration, and shared learnings
- Maintain clear documentation to support test traceability and knowledge sharing
- Lead by example—mentoring others, fostering best practices, and championing a quality-first mindset
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA to embed testing into CI/CD workflows
- Support training and knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift QA capabilities across the team
- Keep a strong focus on client needs, team collaboration, and delivering solutions that truly make a difference
Requirements:
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience in backend test automation, ideally in fintech or financial systems
- Comfortable working with tools like Postman, Playwright, Nutter, and databases like MongoDB and MS SQL
- Confident scripting queries for data validation and supporting complex data pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, or similar
- ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus
- Exposure to caching technologies like DuckDB is beneficial
- You’re a natural collaborator who values clear communication and teamwork
- You bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented mindset to testing and automation
- You’re proactive, organised, and driven by a desire to improve how things work
- You balance technical confidence with a people-first, ethical approach
- You value learning, mentorship, and contributing to team success
