We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will offer assistance in designing and conceptualising the entire system. This includes evaluating processes, analysing business requirements, creating functional designs, overseeing development, and providing user support. Additionally, you will facilitate the exchange of information between the business and technical departments, collaborating closely with technical teams to improve system requirements.
We have a hybrid approach to work, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
What you will do as a Business Systems Analyst:
- Oversees the development work specification process, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Strives for the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects, while maintaining quality.
- Creates comprehensive specifications for developers and testers, including understanding the problem, identifying solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, defining acceptance criteria, conducting impact analysis, and working closely with the team to deliver seamless outcomes.
- Fosters positive client relationships, prioritizing satisfaction and retention.
- Designs intuitive processes and user interfaces that promote ease of use and user satisfaction.
- Approaches solution design and issue resolution with a proactive, innovative, and practical mindset.
- Regularly updates management, stakeholders, and the development team on progress within the SCRUM framework.
- Minimizes obstacles caused by system design issues or delayed business decisions to maintain project flow.
- Successfully delivers business-critical projects, ensuring they meet prioritised objectives.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree and experience as a business analyst
- General knowledge of financial markets, accounting procedures, organizational operations, and potentially some legal/tax knowledge
- Strong analysis and design skills with technical problem-solving abilities for developing applications used in enterprise systems
- Experience with Agile development methodology
- Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in highly pressured and volatile environments
