The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the HUB24 Group. In this role, you'll be responsible for the NSW market, where the primary objective is to grow the profile and usage of the HUB24 platform within current and new licensees.

This position is centered around new business development and expanding our client base. Your primary responsibilities are to build and nurture key relationships, exceed sales targets, and offer support to both potential and current Advisers.

You will act as the face of HUB24 in the financial services industry, contributing valuable insights to the enhancement of our platform. Through strategic collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders, you'll serve as a prominent ambassador for the business, driving forward our brand presence and engagement.

This role is located in Sydney.

Key responsibilities:

    • Identify current market share that HUB24 receives discover opportunities for growth among advisers
    • Develop and manage activity plans, business development, and marketing programs
    • Maintain a pipeline of potential prospects, seeking referrals from current clients and contacts
    • Conduct systematic research on advisers' businesses and present HUB24 opportunities
    • Present compelling reasons for advisers to switch to HUB24 solutions
    • Assist advisers in identifying business opportunities and providing solutions
    • Achieve adviser organic growth budgets and monitor performance to sales targets
    • Coordinate with transition team for client movement
    • Conduct regular client and staff meetings for platform training
    • Communicate product/service updates and address client concerns
    • Gather adviser input for platform enhancements and engage with fund managers
    • Contribute ideas to IT development and provide feedback in sales forums
    • Collaborate with dealer group heads for business development initiatives
    • Increase local market profile through presentations and industry participation.

Skills & Knowledge Capabilities:

    • Degree in relevant business field
    • Minimum 3 years experience as a Platforms BDM focusing on new business development
    • Proficiency in financial instruments, products, platforms, and financial planning, including understanding of relevant legislation and regulation
    • Strong relationship building and business development skills
    • Effective sales, persuasion, negotiation, and influencing abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills across phone, face-to-face, presentations, and public speaking
    • Client-focused with experience working across all levels
    • Proficient in coaching and training
    • Demonstrated positive attitude, integrity, and honesty
    • Strong problem-solving skills, time management, process orientation, and attention to detail
    • Team player with collaborative abilities
