As a Security Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant security standards, regulations, and policies. You will play a critical role in evaluating our security posture, identifying areas for improvement, implementing measures to enhance compliance and mitigate risks, and foster a culture of accountability and transparency. You will coordinate internal and external security audits, define the audit scope, and participate in the audit as the organizational representative for information security compliance, and effectively deliver audit results to management. 

What you will work on

    • You will serve as a security ambassador, raising information security awareness across the organization, evangelizing security compliance best practices, and helping make Clear Capital a security forward organization.
    • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with relevant security standards (such as NIST RMF, ISO 27001/27002), regulations (such as GDPR, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, CCPA), and internal policies.
    • Conducting risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls.
    • Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices, contractual and regulatory requirements.
    • Preparing for and participating in internal and external security audits and assessments.
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop remediation plans for identified security gaps and weaknesses.
    • Providing security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security compliance.
    • Evaluating the security posture of third-party vendors and assessing their compliance with contractual security requirements.
    • Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities, findings, and remediation efforts. Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as needed.
    • Staying abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's security posture and compliance practices.

Who we are looking for

    • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technology related field (Computer Science, Information Technology), or equivalent work experience.
    • Relevant certifications: Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials (GSEC), or equivalent.
    • 5-7 years of proven experience in security compliance, risk management, or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST RMF, ISO/27001/27002, SOC 2). 
    • Familiarity with security technologies, tools, and practices, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documentation and reporting.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with audit procedures and regulatory compliance requirements is highly desirable.
