The Product Marketing Manager will work on product marketing initiatives for all of Clear Capital’s products. The ideal candidate will possess experience as a key resource in the creation of innovative marketing tools and materials that demonstrate value and differentiation while driving customer interest and sales. This position works closely with marketing, product management, and sales to set direction and strategy, and work in collaboration with our sales and marketing teams to initiate, build and deliver global campaigns and programs. The candidate will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME)  for product content and product feature availability. The Product Marketing Manager will build key relationships with customers and relevant third parties so that they become aware of changing requirements and keep abreast of legislation and regulatory changes in the industry.

What you will do in Product Marketing

    • Responsible for executing launch plans, externally and internally, of new products, updates and features
    • Lead go-to-market efforts through coordination across the marketing organization
    • Communicate marketing strategy and plans to field sales and marketing; brief sales and marketing on product introduction and launch strategies
    • Create sales tools and materials including sales presentations, collateral, case studies, white papers, and ROI models for our direct and indirect sales channels
    • Responsible for all product related web content
    • Serve as central point of contact to the sales team and partners for product information
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive product-specific campaigns and activities

What you will do in Product Management

    • Own the marketing strategy, plan, positioning, messaging and direction for Clear Capital’s platform products
    • Participate in building product awareness at industry events and trade shows
    • Analyze products, competition, pricing, and industry trends to develop competitive messaging and positioning
    • Use a value-based pricing approach to help develop pricing strategies that will optimize pricing and profitability and drive margin expansion for platform products
    • Own customer and user feedback channel, organize market needs and communicate to product team for road map consideration
    • Develop and nurture customer relationships to develop references, drive case studies, and develop champions
    • Conduct demonstrations of the product to customers
    • Conduct and manage market research, including competitive analyses, and produce competitive tools

Your skills and experience

    • Minimum of 5 years Product Marketing/Management experience
    • Proven experience in the creation and development of product strategy, positioning and messaging
    • Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with others at all levels of the organization
    • Skilled communicator with desire and or history of thought leadership/evangelism
    • Proven ability in influencing others by adapting approach to suit the individual in order to achieve the right outcomes
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
    • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced environment, startup culture, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

    • Desired experience:Mortgage banking, real-estate valuations and loan servicing GSEs, large banks and non-bank lenders
    • Community banks, credit unions and hard-money lenders
    • Residential and commercial real-estate
    • Conventional, jumbo and Non-QM
    • Lending channels, including correspondent, retail, wholesale and consumer direct
    • Background in loan sales, processing, underwriting, credit, risk & closing
    • Background in collateral valuations
