About the Role:
We are looking for a finance professional to assist the Global Finance Controller in multiple areas ranging from Finance and accounts, to tax and compliances & audits.
What you will do:
(A) Handling taxation and compliances, including but not limited to:-
- Direct tax, including advance taxes.
- GST overview.
- Global tax planning.
- Tax audit, and income tax returns.
- Ownership of global compliance calendar.
- ROC returns and MCA Compliances
- RBI compliances
- Compliances of foreign entities in USA, Singapore and Netherlands.
- Research and stay abreast with the latest legal developments and compliances that could be applicable on the company.
(B) Assisting Finance Controller in-
- Closing of month-end reporting and detailed Trial balance review
- Preparation of monthly consolidated Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
- Preparation of critical worksheets pertaining to intercompany calculations, Fixed Asset Register, ESOPs amortizations, etc.
- Preparation of Annual Financial Statements along with notes to accounts/disclosures as per IGAAP.
- Consolidation of financial statements as per USGAAP.
- Dealing with multiple auditors including resolution of their queries.
We are looking for:
Must have:
- CA with 3+ years of experience
- Industry experience is mandatory, preferably startup experience.
- Experience in financial reporting and taxation.
Good to have:
- Self starter, ability to multitask.
- Operate independently with limited supervision, results-oriented, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
