ABOUT US

We're ClickTime. We help businesses become more productive every day. Our time and expense tracking tools are used by thousands of companies worldwide.

ClickTime is headquartered in San Francisco, with employees working all across the United States. As a bootstrapped, privately held, profitable entity, we provide big company benefits while maintaining the size and energy of a startup. Working with us means you’ll be challenged, surrounded by high-quality teammates, and learn something new every day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our software is a service, so we’re constantly developing and enhancing our code year-round. The development process is fast, and we deploy every 2-3 weeks — turning requirements into living code, testing, deploying, and then starting all over again.

Familiarity with our tech stack is optional but helpful. What is most important is writing clean code and being a quick learner; our team is constantly improving and seeks someone who can do the same. Here are some of the languages and technologies we work with:

- C# and Typescript/Javascript
- MSSQL
- Open-source technologies like .Net, RabbitMQ, Redis, React, and Redux

LOCATION

This position is based in SF. You'll follow a hybrid schedule, being in the office three days a week and working from home the other days. We want to work together and believe you will learn a lot more working alongside us!

Responsibilities

    • Writing code & performing code reviews
    • Squashing bugs
    • Contributing to documentation
    • Writing tests
    • Participating in Scrum/Agile
    • Contributing to application architecture, UI design, and feature development

Qualifications

    • Experience programming in C++, Java, C#, or similar languages
    • Experience with SQL databases
    • In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
    • Current third-year undergraduate (junior)

Traits We Value

    • Versatility and curiosity. We are a small team, and you may be helping with UI design one day or debugging a server issue the next
    • Fantastic communication and cooperation skills! You will work with various people and departments, including non-technical individuals
    • A willingness to learn the full-stack (previous knowledge a plus!)
    • Desire to grow and work independently yet knowing how to reach out early when stuck

Information About the Selection Process

    • Resumes are reviewed and selected for consideration every week
    • If your resume is selected, you'll receive a practical exercise to showcase your skills and abilities
    • If your practical exercise scores highly, you'll have the opportunity to interview with our recruiter
    • In the final round, you'll do an extended, multi-stage Zoom interview
