Overview of the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a backgrounds in sales, channels, or partnerships with experience working in a fast paced quickly scaling organization. As a member of our Partnerships team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the leading educational executives around the world, enabling them to deliver flexible financial opportunities to their students. You need to have strong business acumen, understand modern sales processes, top-in-class communication skills, and a strong understanding of relationship building. You will be held accountable for achieving performance targets established by the Director of Partnerships and have an opportunity to set the path for quality clients that grow long-term.

Your Background and Skills

    • Strong experience in educational or fintech revenue teams
    • Able to sell effectively in challenging environments
    • Familiar with varying sales lifecycles
    • Strong focus on teamwork while able to perform independently
    • Critical decision making skills
    • Capable of multithreading effectively
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously with high level of execution
    • Experience using Sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, etc…
    • Willing to be the internal quarterback for getting deals across the line
    • Gets excited by helping organizations understand industry spanning questions and solution oriented behaviors
    • Able to travel if necessary (under 25% of time)

Role Requirements

    • Strong business acumen with 5+ years in partnerships/sales roles
    • An understanding of financial modeling and ability to communicate effectively
    • Experience working with educational institutions, both private and public
    • Experience building partner or channel ecosystems
    • Highly functional with a deep understanding of business
    • Creative and an excellent storyteller
    • Degree in Business, Finance, or an MBA a plus
