Cloaked is a privacy startup dedicated to rebuilding consumer trust in how personal data is used. Our vision is to create an internet that serves the needs of its users, first and foremost—with individual privacy and opt-in at the core. Our product is a virtual “cloak” that you use as you visit any website — Facebook, Amazon, etc. It lets you choose to share all, some, or none of your private information based on your personal preference.

About Cloaked
Cloaked gives you the ability to auto-generate an identity with a single click from our best in class password management solution. Users can generate masked emails, phone numbers, passwords, and soon credit cards.

What will you do?
-Own the strategy and roadmap for key AI features in the Cloaked portfolio.
-Translate customer problems into scoped experiments and MVPs that deliver end-to-end results; iterate quickly to drive activation, retention, and revenue.
-Partner with Engineering and Design to ship user-facing features that make AI action-taking feel transparent and controllable (status, progress, consent, and auditability).
-Define crisp PRDs, acceptance criteria, and success metrics; keep teams unblocked and decisions documented.
-Make pragmatic technical choices; balance latency, cost, reliability, and privacy.
-Establish and own evaluation: task success rate, time to complete, cost per task, user-reported quality, and safety metrics; run A/B tests to improve them.
-Collaborate with Security, Legal/Compliance, Support, and Data to ensure privacy-first, safe-by-default experiences.
-Identify and prioritize new capabilities and integrations based on user value, feasibility, and business goals.
-Work closely with other PMs and cross-functional partners; communicate priorities clearly and sequence work for maximum impact.
What skills and experiences will help you?
-Experience shipping user-facing products; building AI-powered products that complete tasks for users (consumer or B2B with visible, UI-centric assistants/agents).
-Track record shipping 0→1 and 1→n releases in startup or fast-growth environments.
-Strong product-led growth instincts: instrumentation, funnel analysis, and experiments that move core metrics.
-Technical fluency: comfortable reading/writing light code (Python/JS), working with APIs, and partnering deeply with engineers. No research pedigree required.
-Hands-on with LLM productization: prompt/tool design, function calling, retrieval/RAG basics, evaluation/guardrails, and tuning for latency and cost.
-Experience designing user controls and guardrails so AI actions are explainable, reversible, and trustworthy.
-Excellent cross-functional communication, able to align engineering, design, GTM, support, and leadership on clear problem statements and tradeoffs.
Nice to have?
-Experience in privacy/security or regulated/high-compliance environments.
-Familiarity with agentic AI products.
-Experience with AI design/prototyping tools.

What We Offer
Cloaked is a well-funded Series A startup based out of NYC.
Although we are a distributed team, the NYC team operates with a hybrid model. The office building is home to several amenities, including a gourmet cafe, cocktail bar, and a rooftop work area.
We have a fully built out kitchen packed with drinks and snacks. The Cloaked team has diverse interests so we frequently embark on team outings and go out for socials!
Compensation and Benefits
We offer above market rate pay and equity based off of the market's best commercially available data. Your compensation will be a combination of salary, bonus and equity.
