What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop automations and tools (using Python and AI models) to optimize regulatory monitoring and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to anticipate regulatory demands and build scalable tech solutions.
- Analyze and monitor regulatory developments in the financial and payments sectors, proposing technical solutions to compliance challenges.
- Implement AI-driven solutions for document analysis, regulatory tracking, and process optimization.
- Support initiatives such as Open Banking, PIX, and regulations related to Payment and Financial Institutions with a technology-first approach.
- Build KPIs and compliance-related metrics.
- Enhance compliance programs using AI and automation.
- Work on cross-functional projects, applying technology to accelerate regulatory responses and drive smarter compliance decisions.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Experience in Payment Institutions, acquirers, sub-acquirers, fintechs, or financial services, with strong regulatory understanding.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (scripting, data manipulation, automation).
- Familiarity with applying AI/ML models to compliance or operational processes.
- Ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and develop tech-driven compliance solutions.
- Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to Type 3 Conglomerates, SCFI, and Payment Institution frameworks.
- Experience with financial institution licensing processes and/or familiarity with U.S. regulations is a plus
