Our R&D team pushes the boundaries of what's possible in AI and data science—but even brilliant minds need brilliant operations. You'll help shape how we hire, grow, and share our research with the world. We're looking for someone who sees systems where others see chaos, who can optimize how genius gets organized, and who gets excited about making smart people even more effective.
The R&D Team:
- Diverse & Cutting-Edge: Our team includes data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers working on geospatial intelligence, lending algorithms, graph networks, and breakthrough AI applications
- Core Team Member: You'll work directly within our R&D team as a core member, not external support—your insights shape how we operate

What the Job Entails:
- Team Task Automation: Build automation solutions using LLM agents, scripts, and integrations to eliminate manual operational tasks and streamline R&D team workflows
- Hiring Data Analysis: Analyze R&D hiring processes and data to identify improvement opportunities, optimize assessment methods, and enhance our talent acquisition effectiveness
- Open Source Project Support: Help team members with writing, presentation best practices, documentation, and content creation to showcase CloudWalk's research contributions to the community
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for automated processes, hiring procedures, and team operational guidelines
- Workflow Integration: Build integrations with external platforms and tools to connect different systems and automate cross-platform workflows
- Research Communication: Support researchers in translating complex technical work into clear, accessible formats for publications and presentations
What You'll Need:
- Initiative to learn, investigate, experiment—you'll be optimizing systems you help design
- Curiosity of a researcher combined with the execution mindset of an operations expert
- Python proficiency for automation and scripting, or strong programming background with eagerness to learn Python quickly
- Comfortable building solutions from scratch and experimenting with new tools and technologies
- Research experience and analytical thinking (academic background, industry research, or systematic approach to problem-solving)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and process improvement instincts
- Ability to communicate and debate in English and Portuguese
- Interest in operational efficiency and making brilliant people more effective
Nice to Have:
- Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) in any field or proven experience with research methodology
- Experience with writing and communication (scientific writing, technical documentation, content creation, or translating complex research for broader audiences)
- Knowledge of open source community management and project coordination
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and experimentation design
- Experience with Git, version control systems, and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with automation tools, scripting, and workflow optimization
- Experience with API integrations and data manipulation
- Experience with LLM agent development or AI-assisted workflow automation
- Experience using AI tools for productivity enhancement and coding assistance (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
