Reporting to the Head of Digital Products and Applications, the Delivery Lead is responsible for establishing and driving delivery excellence across AMS’s digital product portfolio, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other applications.
This role will lead the creation and standardisation of delivery frameworks across AMS’ digital product portfolio, oversee execution across multiple delivery streams, and ensure AMS delivers business outcomes with predictability, transparency and quality. The Delivery Lead will act as the central orchestrator of delivery across multiple projects from intake through to BAU handover, including release coordination and CAB representation.
The role will work closely with stakeholders across customer growth, operations, and technology teams to coordinate intake, prioritisation, and delivery of initiatives, while proactively managing dependencies and risks.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
- Establish and standardise consistent delivery frameworks tailored to AMS’s environment.
- Own end-to-end delivery orchestration across multiple platforms and applications, from intake to production readiness.
- Co-ordinate release planning and represent delivery in CAB forums.
- Introduce structured tracking and resolution of dependencies and risks.
- Proactively identify and remove delivery impediments and manage risks.
Planning & Prioritisation
- Lead delivery planning, resource forecasting and allocation across multiple projects to ensure initiatives are well-shaped and resourced.
- Maintain backlog health in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring priorities are clear and achievable.
- Partner with Finance and Strategy to align funding with delivery capacity, including ownership of team budgets, burndown tracking and initiative reporting.
Governance & Reporting
- Define delivery KPIs and report regularly to leadership on status of key strategic initiatives and operational development activity.
- Ensure consistent use of tools for visibility and transparency.
- Facilitate governance forums for initiative intake, progress tracking, and risk management.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams (customer, operations, technology) and external vendors.
- Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for issue resolution and delivery support.
- Serve as a conduit between business and technology, ensuring delivery teams remain focused on business outcomes.
- Support change management to ensure initiatives are effectively embedded within the organisation.
Continuous Improvement
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement across technology teams, making enhancements visible and meaningful to the wider business.
- Introduce standardised ways of working, including ceremonies and metrics, to drive efficiency and alignment across teams.
About you
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead/Manager or Portfolio Manager in complex multi-platform environments.
- Strong knowledge of delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience leading delivery across Salesforce, NetSuite, and D365 or equivalent enterprise platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Excellent understanding of backlog management, prioritisation, and intake processes.
- Proficient in delivery tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, DevOps platforms).
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple delivery streams simultaneously.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with business, technology, and external vendors.
