About Us

Alpha is a product studio focused on the intersection of AI and consumer social – backed by a16z and many of the top investors in the world. Our goal is to create social products that we use, that our friends use, and that have the potential to reach billions of people.

Clubhouse was our first app, and we’ve been quietly growing that while building our next set of products. We have years of runway, millions of users, and find ourselves at a very interesting time, where AI is making entirely new things possible with voice.

If you are a talented builder who’s interested in joining us, we’d love to talk.

The Role

We’re looking for a bold, creative GTM Manager (Go-to-market) to help us bring entirely new products into the world—ones that feel fresh, fun, and unmistakably human. Your job is to take a spark of product strategy and figure out how to bring it into the world. You’ll own the full go-to-market arc, from shaping early hypotheses to designing launch plans to finding creative, unexpected ways to drive user growth.

You won’t just be handed a playbook—you’ll write it. Every launch is different, and you’ll treat each one as a puzzle to solve. Whether it’s running paid ads, teaming up with creators, doing field work, or trying something no one’s seen before, you’ll work across product, design, and engineering to figure out what works—and make it happen.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has a burning passion for getting the job done, and wants to shape how new ideas reach the world. If you’re energized by 0→1 challenges and want to join a small, mission-driven team doing the most meaningful work of their careers—we’d love to meet you.

We are a remote friendly-company — with our headquarters in San Francisco and a strong commitment to ensuring people can do great work here and thrive without having to live near an office. This role is open to candidates across the U.S

Who you are

    • You are an experienced marketer. You’ve spent 5+ years owning go-to-market campaigns end-to-end—whether as a PMM, a growth marketer, or an early startup operator. You know how to translate a strategy into a plan, and then actually make it happen.
    • You act like an owner. You are proactive, resourceful, and enjoy highly autonomous environments. You treat launches like business problems to solve, considering tradeoffs and dependencies, and enjoy shaping how we go to market.
    • You’re scrappy and entrepreneurial. You have energy and bias towards action. You know how to get things done with limited resources, and fast. If something’s unclear, you figure it out. You proactively share progress, flag risks, and ask the right questions early.
    • You are a generalist, and that’s your superpower. Whatever the project calls for—whether that’s field marketing, paid campaigns, creator partnerships, or another scrappy tactic—you adapt, acquire new skills if necessary, and do whatever it takes to succeed.
    • You have strong instincts and high standards. You move quickly, but are not sloppy. You care about details. You write clearly, manage timelines tightly, and think critically about what will actually drive impact.

What you will do

    • You’ll own the go-to-market execution for new 0→1 product launches. You’ll figure out how to get our first users in the door: through ads, creator partnerships, IRL outreach, or other creative acquisition plays.
    • You’ll be the glue across product, design, engineering, and ops. You’ll translate early ideas into launch-ready plans. From pressure-testing hypotheses to rallying the team around what matters most, you’ll bring focus, speed, and structure to help each launch and your team succeed.
    • You’ll grow, teach, and improve rapidly. At Clubhouse you’ll be working with an incredible team, who love to learn from and teach each other. You’ll find yourself stretching to new areas, immersed in feedback, and growing your skills on a daily basis.
    • You’ll create something meaningful. Social products allow people to connect in ways that were never before possible. When the telephone was invented, it suddenly allowed people to speak with others across the world. Thanks to FaceTime, grandparents everywhere can now watch their grandchildren grow up. At Clubhouse, you’ll be figuring out something entirely new for the world—a positive product that brings people’s voices together to help everyone have a life filled with great friendships.
