The Role
We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional eager to grow within a dynamic fintech SaaS environment. You will lead the monthly close process, prepare timely and accurate journal entries, draft financial statements, and contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our overall financial operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP; maintain and reconcile monthly general ledger accounts.
- Own key areas of the month-end close process, including accruals, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage billing operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and cash collection in accordance with customer contracts.
- Support contract review processes to ensure proper revenue treatment under ASC 606 and billing schedules.
- Manage accounts payable processes, employee expense reports, and corporate cards via Bill.com and Ramp.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Sales Operations, Legal, and People Operations to ensure accuracy of entries, policy alignment, and account classifications.
- Assist with annual audits (Big Four) by providing procedures, samples, and documentation in collaboration with accounting department lead, CFO, and external auditors.
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Generate custom financial reports and analyses in partnership with FP&A/Strategic Finance.
- Support implementation and integration of ERP with financial tools and systems as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting and/or a SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
- Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 and SaaS billing practices.
- Demonstrated experience preparing complex journal entries and performing month-end close duties within a 5-day closing schedule.
- Experience with accounting ERP systems, Sage Intacct or Netsuite a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Compensation Information:
The estimated annual base salary range for this role is US$110,000 – US$125,000. The successful candidate’s salary will be determined by non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our benefits program including health, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off and our equity plan.
