The Role – Lead Product Manager, Data & Analytics 
CMG is searching for a Lead Product Manager. In this role, you’ll lead development initiatives in Data & Analytics. CMG offers data, data integration and data-driven insights enabling mission-critical workflow for some of the largest financial services organizations. You’ll work alongside our industry expert founders and our experienced engineering team. We’re all working on a vision, and we need a collaborative product manager that can bring that vision to life. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.  
 
Responsibilities:
·              Motivate others with strong passion for building innovative and intelligent data-driven solutions 
·              Define and own end-to-end product vision, strategy, and lifecycle of a client facing data analytics platform  
·              Drive the discovery, planning and execution of the roadmap for the entity mapping and security reference databases 
·              Advise data engineers and technologists on solutions aligning with business priorities 
·              Break down complex problems into simple elegant solutions, offering programmatic solutions that also bring together analytics rigor to ensure data driven decision making 
·              Establish and maintain standards and frameworks to drive cross functional alignment and clarity  
·              Work cross-functionally to drive product & feature development - from discovery, functional specification and release planning through to deployment and customer adoption 
·              Grow the data product manage team by hiring and mentoring junior product managers 
  
Must-Have: 
·             8+ years of software product management experience 
·             Experience building or using master data management systems 
·             Experience managing data visualization and analysis products 
·             Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to define the technical implementation to solve business problems 
·             Exceptional communication skills and ability to interface with external and internal partners 
·             A track record of execution in all parts of the product lifecycle: design, development, launch, and adoption 
·             Excellent technical, project management, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills 
·             Managing data product teams and people 

Nice-to-Have: 
·             Previous work at a startup 
·             Fintech industry experience 
·             Experience with entity and security master databases across multiple asset classes 
·             Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) 
·             Building data visualizations in tools like Tableau and Power-BI 
·             Querying and manipulating data using SQL, R, or Python
