Project Manager - Business Systems

The Business Systems Project Manager will be a key driver behind our continued growth and success of CNM. This person will have experience in systems implementation, integration and financial management.  This role will project lead key operational initiatives including the planning, design, development and implementation of new and/or enhanced business systems and process changes to facilitate the strategic growth initiatives of CNM.
The Project Manager will leverage their understanding of the professional services industry and proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve project challenges. Additionally, the project manager will work closely with the operations support teams and client service leadership to help ensure strategic alignment and ultimately successful project outcomes.

Business Analysis
·         Provides strategic, expert advice and consultation on the design and implementation of effective administrative and business processes, that include process analysis, redesign, re-engineering, and organizational effectiveness
·         Reviewing business and service line functions and processes; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
·         Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
·         Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
·         Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business systems and process improvement planning within the various departments and programs of the service lines
·         Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
Project Management
Project manage the following key CNM operational objectives:
        Resource Management System Replacement – (Time & Billing, Scheduling)
        Employee engagement system and process identification and Implementation
        Client service project management automation/process improvement
        Expense software replacement (e.g. Concur) and core financial system selection and implementation
·         Lead structured vendor and system selection process
·         Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
·         Validate project resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
·         Coordinate project tasks with designated project team and outside system integration consultants
·         Direct the project according to schedules and budgets
·         Help determine resource requirements
·         Facilitates issue resolution and keeps the project moving within defined plan parameters
·         Keeps the project plan current and communicates with upper management
·         Ensure completion of deliverable
·         Adherence to timelines
·         Track milestones and timelines across projects and institute necessary workflow, personnel and financial resource allocations
·         Making alterations when necessary to meet expectations of project stakeholder
·         Analyze and resolve issues that have the potential to jeopardize performance and/or ability to meet agreed upon deliverable
·         Timely communication of project status to both Partners and operations executive management
·         Oversee internal project resources and external contractors to develop and plan projects and project work orders


    • Demonstrated success in project management including experience in implementation of cloud-based ERP or similar systems, systems migration and/or installation of key professional services related software.
    • Experience in process improvement and organizational change management.
    • Experience in system integration for new or acquired operations and offices preferred.

    • Demonstrated conceptual understanding of databases including data structures and data flows
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional groups to accomplish goals
    • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
    • BA or BS in relevant field including at least 8 years of relevant work experience

Preferred Experience

    • Experience in professional Services Industry
    • Ability to understand business concepts and issues as well as technical systems processes
    • Ability to gather, interpret, and communicate complex ideas
