Dynamic, thoughtful, professional services firm searching for a hands-on Human Resources Director. This position is located in Woodland Hills and reports to our executive team. 
We are looking for a candidate with professional services firm experience who has the tactical HR skills to manage day to day HR projects as well as other critical projects and people-based initiatives in order to ensure that employee engagement, retention and performance are always balanced with excellence, quality and doing what is right internally and externally.
Required Candidate Attributes:
·         Project manage programs including: HRIS implementation, Payroll Systems, Benefits
·         Strong leadership skills – build and manage HR team
·         Hands-on – able to lead, direct and manage directly
·         Analytical – able to analyze data to provide insight on value-add HR activities
·         Customer service focus – able to keep open lines of communication with employees and to provide timely, regular updates
·         Excellent judgment - fair and equitable and able to balance employee and business needs
·         Collaborative style, ability to coordinate efforts among multiple teams and business units in multiple locations
·         Strong emotional intelligence – able to build trust, manage teams and foster excellent business relationships
·         High degree of integrity
Sample of Projects:
·         Payroll, benefits and HRIS – evaluate our current PEO, make recommendations to optimize, streamline, continue the relationship or sever the relationship (determining whether to bring functions in-house or commencing another PEO relationship)
·         Employee engagement – develop programs to keep our employees motivated
·         Performance program – build upon our Performance management programs highlighting opportunities for promotion, identifying training needs, providing professional development as needed and ensuring fair and equitable compensation opportunities at all levels of the organization
·         New hire onboarding and new employee orientation programs – Evaluate and streamline our new hire processes, automating where necessary and ensuring compliance to all local, state and federal guidelines
·         Training program – identify needs for training programs within various business units; evaluate online, classroom, self-directed and other training options to ensure that training goals are reached annually
·         Payroll – evaluate, manage and streamline our current payroll process
·         Employee relations – evaluate current policies, ensure compliance and build guidelines for managing employee relations issues
Job Requirements:
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business (Human Resources, Management or related), Psychology, Sociology or related
·         Professional services firm experience: Accounting, Legal, Public Relations, or related
·         Professional Human Resources experience in multi-site location
·         Experience building, managing and leading HR team
·         PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred
·         Ability to travel as required (under 10% annually)
