Job Responsibilities:
Testing strategy and plan development: Design and implement comprehensive testing plans and protocols for new technologies, ensuring thorough validation of performance, functionality, and reliability.​
Test execution: Conduct detailed testing, including functional, integration, performance, and stress testing, to validate new hardware and system updates.​
Risk identification and mitigation: Assess potential risks and impacts of technology changes on existing systems, developing strategies to address identified issues proactively.​
Defect identification, analysis, reporting and resolution: Identify, document, and communicate records of testing processes, outcomes, defects or inconsistencies and recommendations, working closely with engineering and product teams to provide actionable insights to resolve issues effectively.​
Process improvement: Continuously seek and implement ways to automate, refine and improve testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall quality assurance process​
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with design, engineering, and product management teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.​
Continuous learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends, and adapting testing processes to support emerging technologies & evolving project requirements

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.​
5+ years of experience in hardware testing, ideally in digital signage or similar industries.​
Experience with testing tools such as LabVIEW, JIRA, TestRail, and automation platforms for hardware and firmware.​
Proven track record in risk management, with experience identifying and mitigating risks in hardware systems​
Demonstrated experience in defect identification and resolution within complex hardware systems.
