Senior Business Systems Analyst – Chicago
 
As our Senior Business Systems Analyst you’ll be responsible for the design, development, installation, implementation modification and support for new or existing applications software. You’ll be conducting research and analysis to develop solutions to business problems across Coates, owning and managing the customer-facing business platform, innovating and scaling operations.

Your overall primary focus will be delivering new sales operations, customer onboarding and case management capabilities in North America, delivering new capabilities that will impact all business systems globally.
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities

•       Produce the Coates Customer Onboarding, Case Management, and Customer Relationship processes and systems proposals for scalable delivery with continuous improvement framework to support business systems reviews
•       Own and manage the development of a systems plan to deliver new capabilities in the above three key areas
•       Develop high quality project plans for identified CRM and ERP priority projects
•       Advise on CRM and ERP Systems updates and extensions to enable efficient and scalable invoicing, billing, 3PL transaction processing that incorporates enforcing master data management and accurate reporting
•       Own and produce the data modelling for CRM and ERP systems to pinpoint information needed for system design projects
•       Deliver a process documentation plan for key cycles, i.e., Plan to Pay, Order to Cash, Demand Planning and Customer Onboarding
•       Inform and support Coates’ global approach and systems implementation to deliver enhancements to capacity and demand planning, asset management, sales, procurement, RMA, deployment, warranty management and proactive service
 
Skills and Qualifications

•       Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on business analysis workstreams
•       Experience with Atlassian products, Jira and Confluence, or similar tools
•       Experience partnering with business stakeholders to advise on IT project planning and systems implementation
•       Proven track record of organizing and leading outcome driven business process management (BPM) workshops
•       Successful management of information technology projects to deliver new capabilities for a broad stakeholder group
•       Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders
•       Possess the capacity to successfully manage several tasks concurrently within set timeframes
•       Additionally, hands-on experience with the following is highly desired:
-- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified across the five stages advantageous
--Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification advantageous
--Six Sigma Process Improvement certified  or equivalent certification advantageous
--Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner (CSPO) certification advantageous
--Experience partnering with Finance and Supply Chain Management teams to implement ERP updates is advantageous
