Primary Role

•      Develop projects for global and national clients

•      Bring concepts and ideas to life through purposeful web development

•      Innovative user experience techniques with data model design

•      Adding and building features into our current framework

•      Process:

o   Work as an active participant in our team

o   Daily Stand Ups; and

o   Planning and estimation of tasks

o   Code reviewing peer’s work

•      Delivery of clean, robust, modular code

•      Maintain legacy code.

Key To The Role

•      Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in front end engineering

•      Proficiency in HTML/CSS3 and CSS animation

•      Expertise in modern JavaScript (ES6 and more recent) and TypeScript

•      Expertise using JavaScript frameworks, with a preference for React, to create components and applications

•      Experience in Redux for state management, and RxJS for event based reactive programming

•      Exposure to React tooling like Redux Toolkit, selectors, React Context API and styled-components.

•      Exposure to component libraries like Material UI

•      Experience in unit testing using tools such as, Mocha, Jasmine, Jest, Cypress

•      Strong knowledge of SASS and LESS preprocessors

•      A solid understanding of engineering best practices and can work with Git version control

•      Excellent interpersonal skills and a clear communicator

•      Able to follow instructions and brief

•      Innovative problem-solving capabilities

•      Attention to detail and a focus on quality

•      Practicality – Can scope and deliver project in a realistic timeframe.

•      Locate in Japan, conversational Japanese language and fluent in English are required.
