Internship dates: June 3rd - August 9th, 2024

co:collective is a creative and strategic transformation partner for purpose-led businesses.

We believe the best businesses are built on purpose. Building a purpose-led business involves more than a purpose statement and an advertising campaign. It is the cumulative experience of a company’s products, services, identity and actions in the world.

At co:, we help teams define and align on a core purpose, and work with them to galvanize action to drive transformation. We work with companies large and small to define and embed purpose in their businesses. And our three practices - Business & Brand, Organization & Culture Design, and Experience - are built to help our clients deliver purpose from the inside out.

We are looking for a full-time summer intern who will join us in our New York City office to help businesses and brands define their purpose and align it to their strategy. You will work alongside fellow strategists and members of our strategy, creative and client engagement teams. You’ll help our clients solve a wide variety of business challenges, ranging from brand strategy, to audience definition, to product innovation, sustainability and business transformation.

- You’re a generous collaborator, empathetic, culturally attuned, willing to jump in and work to find the best solutions
- You’re someone with a passion for doing good in the world and have a desire to make a positive impact

What you’ll do
- Develop insights: You'll be responsible for gathering relevant inputs and synthesizing them to inform our process. This may include the design and execution of quantitative or ethnographic research, client interviews and working sessions, desk research online and using commercial data resources, in-field observation, leading focus groups and customer interviews, expert interviews, or defining how to crunch quantitative data into market forecasts and business models.
- Craft strategies: You'll learn our unique approach, and work to develop the core purpose and strategy that will shape the future of the brands you work on. You’ll advise clients on how to make bold business decisions rooted in their purpose, by inventing, developing, and launching new business models, products, and experiences that make the purpose real in the world.
- Pitch in new business: You will assist in developing opportunities that could lead to new project assignments for co:. Key activities will include research, sourcing, and coordination of strategy presentations.

What you’ve done
