Coda’s Global Partnerships team's mission is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners.  This global team of business development professionals engages with leading providers of digital content and services as well as local payment and content distribution partners to execute situationally dependent partnership strategies that connect partner supply (digital content and services) to global consumer demand and measurably drive partner revenue and margin growth.   

About This Role
Indonesia is Coda’s largest market. Given the importance of local partnerships, this role will be critical in ensuring Coda’s success in the region. The Account Manager will lead Account Management and support business development efforts, and provide general support to other functional teams as needed.

Responsibilities:

    • Account Management: Manage the relationship and maximize value from our local partners.
    • PIC: Manage the day-to-day relationship with local partners (operations, debugging, etc.), act as the main PIC externally (representing Coda) and internally (representing the partner/market when collaborating with different Coda teams)
    • Value: Maintain and grow the value from the different partnerships: monitor performance, conduct QBRs, renegotiate terms, secure added support, etc.
    • Support: Provide local support to enable Coda’s success; participate in cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives, share best practices with peer groups, provide local admin support
    • Market intel: Provide intel regarding changes in the market (competition, payment landscape, distribution trends, price benchmarks, regulatory changes, etc.), build and maintain a network of local industry leaders
    • Business Development: Develop and grow a network of partners that enable Coda’s success in the market
    • Payments: Assist in establishing partnerships with local payment providers (generate leads, lead the sales pitch, help negotiate commercials, review agreement terms and KYC)
    • Distribution: Help develop new distribution partnerships (online shops, offline retail, etc.)
    • Marketing: Strike new deals to provide Marketing support from external partners (existing and new), especially existing payment channels

Requirements:

    • 2+  years of experience in Account Management, B2B sales or BD, with a proven track record of negotiating, closing deals and retaining accounts in the country
    • Experience in Payments, Fintech or distribution of digital content is a strong plus
    • Track record of effectively optimizing and managing partnerships
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can communicate clearly and effectively
    • Strong skills in strategic thinking, data analysis and creative problem-solving
    • High sense of ownership, autonomy and self-motivation
