What You’ll be Doing
· Assist in the translation of content from source language to target language.
· Collaborate with the localization team to facilitate the completion of localization projects, including communication with translators and tracking project progress.
· Perform quality assurance checks on localized content, such as checking for accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness.
· Collaborate with other teams, such as content creators, designers, and engineers, to ensure that localized content meets their needs and requirements.
· Help to develop and maintain localization style guides, glossaries, and other reference materials to ensure consistency across localized content.
· Analyze data related to localization projects to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
· Support the development of localized content for different regions and markets, ensuring that content is appropriate for the local culture and language.
What You’ll Bring
· Strong language skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt content to different audiences and platforms. Proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
· Quick learner: A strong desire to learn about localization, content management, and app communication tone, and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies.
· Adaptability: The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
· Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all content produced is accurate, consistent, and error-free.
· Cultural awareness: Sensitivity to cultural nuances and an understanding of how to localize content for different markets, maintaining the brand voice and tone.
· Team player: A strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and marketing.
· Creativity: A flair for generating engaging and creative content ideas that resonate with the target audience and align with the brand’s voice and tone.
· Basic technical knowledge: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), translation tools, and other relevant software or platforms.
· Problem-solving mindset: The ability to identify challenges and proactively propose solutions in the localization and app communication processes.
· Passion for the brand and product: A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the company’s mission, vision, and products, enabling the intern to create compelling content that supports business goals.
