Our client is a locally respected and growing landscape services company, known for its commitment to horticultural excellence, precision installation practices, and exceptional client care. Serving a diverse residential and commercial client base, they specialize in hardscape and softscape construction, planting, irrigation, and water feature installations throughout the region. As demand continues to grow, they are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscaping Operations Manager  to support and lead the delivery of their high-quality landscape projects.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead Daily Crew Operations – Oversee project schedules, assign routes, and ensure your teams have what they need to deliver quality work on time.
    • Plan Project and Order Materials – Plan/Coordinate materials for patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, and hardscapes.
    • Track Hours and Job Progress – Record labor, materials, and job notes daily; flag any issues early.
    • Maintain Tools & Equipment – Ensure crews have working gear and arrange repairs or replacements as needed.
    • Train and Develop Crews – Mentor crew leads and team members in techniques, safety, and efficiency.
    • Inspect Work for Quality – Visit sites to confirm progress and high standards are being met.
    • Keep Projects on Budget – Monitor labor hours and material usage closely; adjust where needed.
    • Enforce a Safety-First Culture – Model and enforce proper PPE use, safe equipment handling, and company policies.

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years in landscaping construction, with hands-on knowledge of patios, retaining walls, drainage, plantings, etc.
    • Leadership experience managing field crews or supervising multiple jobs.
    • Comfortable operating compact equipment (Dingo, skid steer) and common landscaping tools.
    • Familiar with materials planning and reading job specs.
    • Strong communicator who keeps teams moving and clients informed.
    • Can identify common Zone 7 plants and site conditions.
    • Valid NC driver’s license and insurable under company policy.
    • Willing to work outdoors in all seasons and perform physical labor when needed.
