Responsibilities:

    • Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in commercial buildings.
    • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to map out system layouts and ensure compliance with project specifications.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical systems and components to ensure peak performance and adherence to safety standards.
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of systems.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other trades to keep jobs on schedule and within budget, fostering a cooperative work environment.
    • Safety Compliance: Maintain strict safety standards and comply with all regulations and site requirements, conducting safety audits and addressing potential hazards.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, time sheets, and safety reports.
    • Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients on job sites, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

    • Journeyman or Master Electrician certification.
    • Experience with commercial build-outs, renovations, and service contracts.
    • Proficiency in using project management and scheduling software.
    • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage systems.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
    • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes and regulations.
    • Experience with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and other trades.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
