Our client is a leading provider of high-quality fireplaces, stoves, inserts, plumbing and HVAC. They offer comprehensive sales, service, and installation solutions to homeowners and trade professionals. They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts, drive revenue growth, and foster strong customer and partner relationships.
This role requires a unique blend of inside sales expertise, serving walk-in showroom customers, and outside sales acumen, building strategic partnerships with interior designers, home builders, architects, and other relevant professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Sales Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for both retail and trade segments.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and refine sales approaches.
    • Set sales goals, track performance, and provide regular reporting to company owners.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and customer experience

    • Inside Sales & Showroom Management:
    • Greet and assist walk-in customers in our showroom, providing expert product knowledge, design advice, and sales consultations.
    • Qualify customer needs, present suitable fireplace solutions, and prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
    • Manage the showroom experience, ensuring an inviting and well-maintained environment.
    • Visit customers in their homes to help them visualize and define their product needs.
    • Oversee inventory of showroom models and sales collateral.
    • Process sales orders, coordinate with the installation team, and ensure seamless customer follow-up.

    • Outside Sales & Business Development:
    • Identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with interior designers, home builders, architects, remodelers, and other trade professionals.
    • Conduct presentations and educational sessions to showcase our product offerings and capabilities to potential partners.
    • Negotiate and secure partnership agreements, fostering long-term collaborative relationships.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand our professional network.
    • Develop tailored solutions and pricing for trade accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience (5+ years) in a consumer facing sales role, preferably within the home improvement, construction, or leisure goods industry.
    • Demonstrable success in both inside and outside sales environments.
    • Demonstrated experience and understanding of key platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and potentially YouTube, including their respective best practices for business.
    • Strong understanding of fireplace products, installation processes, and relevant building codes (or a strong willingness to learn rapidly).
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customer segments and professional partners.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outside sales activities.
$45,000 - $60,000 a year
Above base plus commission.
