Position Summary

The Controller is a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of a multi-entity organization, including a national restoration franchising brand, two operational franchise units, a land management company, and two emerging businesses.  The Controller leads financial planning, reporting, risk management, and funding strategy to support growth and scalability across the portfolio.   

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic financial leadership across all six business entities.   
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling activities. 
    • Implement and maintain consolidated financial reporting and dashboards.  
    • Optimize cash flow, working capital, and treasury management across the portfolio of companies.  
    • Lead banking relationships, credit facilities, insurance and investment strategies 
    • Evaluate financial performances of franchisee and support sustainable growth of the franchising model.  
    • Oversee accounting operations, audits, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.  
    • Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and efficiency through data and KPI’s 
    • Manage and develop finance team members to support business needs and succession planning.  
    • Support franchise expansion and new business development.  
    • Manage to GAAP principles and provide accounting views for Tax, Managerial and Investors.  

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field (MBA Preferred) 
    • CPA 
    • 7-10+ years of experience in a senior finance role; multi-entity or franchise experience preferred.  
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.  
    • Proven success in implementing scalable financial systems and controls 
    • Experience in working with private equity, investors, or lenders.  
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.  
    • Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (example:  QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)  
    • Qvinci experience preferred – reporting consolidator of QuickBooks.  
$140,000 - $160,000 a year
