Cognitiv is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Revenue Operations to drive operational excellence across our go-to-market functions. This individual will oversee both our Sr. Sales Operations Manager and SDR Manager, ensuring alignment between sales strategy, processes, and performance. Reporting to the President, the Director will play a key role in scaling revenue operations, improving efficiency, and supporting predictable growth.
This position will be located in our NYC office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thu/Fri).
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Strategy & Sales Enablement:
○ Partner with senior leadership in Sales function and beyond to align revenue operations with overall business goals and sales strategy.
○ Refine and optimize sales processes to improve conversion rates, pipeline development, and efficiency across the funnel.
○ Collaborate with Marketing and the SDR Manager to ensure top-of-funnel strategy is effective and aligned with pipeline targets.
○ Support accurate forecasting through improved Salesforce data hygiene, process consistency, and performance analysis.
○ Take ownership of sales compensation and incentive structures that align with performance and company goals.
Operational Execution & Process Improvement:
○ Oversee the SDR Manager and Sales Operations Manager, supporting their teams and ensuring accountability to shared revenue goals.
○ Evaluate and improve systems, tools, and processes to enable scale, including Salesforce, outreach tools, and reporting infrastructure.
○ Eliminate inefficiencies in sales workflows and identify areas for automation and continuous improvement.
○ Foster alignment and smooth handoffs across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.
Data, Reporting & Insights:
○ Maintain, and improve where necessary, performance dashboards and reports to track KPIs, pipeline health, and sales efficiency.
○ Translate data into actionable insights that guide decision-making and strategy refinement.
○ Lead quarterly business reviews and contribute to board-level reporting with accurate and meaningful performance analysis.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
○ Manage and support the professional development of the SDR Manager and Sales Operations Manager, providing strategic guidance and operational oversight.
○ Promote a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement within the Revenue Operations function.
○ Partner with the People team on talent planning, training, and career development within the revenue org.
○ Serve as a connector between Revenue Operations and Finance, Marketing and other departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field.
● Proven experience managing managers and working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance leaders.
● Strong background in sales operations, GTM strategy, pipeline management, and process optimization.
● Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Looker, HubSpot, etc.) and a strong ability to interpret data and drive results.
● Strong communicator and partner who can influence without authority and drive alignment across functions.
● Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth organization; ability to scale processes and tools.
$180,000 - $190,000 a year
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.
