We are seeking a Junior Risk Data Analyst to join our company. The Junior Risk Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our fraud and risk management efforts by analyzing data, identifying patterns, and assisting in the development of risk mitigation strategies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the fintech industry and eager to contribute to the security and integrity of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data to identify potential fraudulent activities, suspicious patterns, and emerging risks.
- Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor and investigate suspicious user activities, transactions, and account behaviors to detect and prevent fraud attempts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance, Legal, and Operations, to ensure effective risk mitigation measures are in place.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on fraud and risk management activities for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar languages and platforms.
- Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings effectively.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, risk management, and compliance practices within the cryptocurrency or financial industry is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
