Position Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role serves as the frontline of the sales process, tasked with identifying and qualifying potential customers. SDRs employ a combination of research and outreach strategies to engage prospects through various channels such as email, phone calls, and social media. Their primary objective is to generate quality leads and facilitate meaningful interactions with the sales team, ultimately driving revenue growth for the company. Through diligent prospecting, effective qualification, and strategic relationship-building efforts, SDRs play a pivotal role in establishing a robust sales pipeline and laying the groundwork for successful sales conversions. This role demands strong communication skills, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment.

What You'll Do

    • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify potential leads and opportunities.
    • Research and gather information on target accounts and decision-makers using various tools and resources.
    • Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce OnCourse Learning and our solutions.
    • Qualify leads based on specific criteria, such as budget, timeline, and fit with our offerings.
    • Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads.
    • Collaborate with sales executives to develop targeted prospecting strategies and messaging.
    • Track and manage prospecting activities and outcomes using CRM software.
    • Provide feedback to the marketing team to help optimize lead generation campaigns and messaging.

What You'll Need to Succeed

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or customer service is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with outbound sales prospecting techniques and best practices is a plus.
