Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented content marketing manager to join our dynamic team on the Teacher Education Ecosystem! The District Content Marketing Manager will focus on developing and executing content and marketing strategies aimed at establishing and nurturing partnerships with K-12 schools, districts, and education organizations. Reporting directly to the Director of Content Marketing on our Teacher Education Ecosystem, this role plays a crucial role in building mutually beneficial relationships with school districts — leveraging content marketing strategies to help establish and maintain strong, trusting, and productive relationships that achieve positive outcomes. Experience in communications or marketing for B2B education (K-12 or higher ed) or edtech preferred but not required. If you are a creative and strategic thinker who is passionate about content marketing and ready to elevate your career, we invite you to join us in this exciting journey.

What You'll Do

    • Develop and execute content strategies for school district leadership—promoting our programs, scholarship offerings, and other resources in alignment with the overall content marketing strategy.
    • Research and write copy for a variety of valuable content that speaks to the needs and interests of school district leaders. This can include blogs, surveys, emails, guides, white papers and reports, flyers, infographics, and more. Where applicable, optimize corresponding content in support of our SEO goals.
    • Help attract and nurture school district partners with an approach that focuses on high-value content, personalized nurture sequences, and regional campaigns.
    • Leverage various channels (website, social media, newsletters, blog, etc.) to promote and distribute content to school district leaders and their teachers—ensuring the right content gets to the right person at the right time.
    • Help develop and execute an event (in-person and virtual) strategy to attract new district partners, support existing ones, and build strong, productive relationships with key district partners.
    • Stay informed about educational policies, regulations, and standards relevant to school districts—ensuring partnership content and activities comply with legal and ethical guidelines. Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams as needed to ensure compliance.
    • Collaborate with our data experts to track and analyze the performance of partnership content and initiatives and use data insights to optimize district content strategies and improve outcomes.
    • Ensure district partnership content aligns with our brand identity and values. Maintain consistency in messaging and branding while also adapting content to meet the specific needs of school district leaders.

What You'll Need to Succeed

    • 4+ years of content marketing experience, including copywriting and/or content strategy
    • Experience creating high-converting multichannel, multitouch campaign plans, ideally in a B2B and/or education-related space
    • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting experience with a portfolio highlighting diverse writing styles and formats, including short- and long-form content
    • Knowledge of best SEO practices and the ability to incorporate them in content creation
    • Self-starter with strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills to successfully handle multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously
    • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal
    • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or related discipline
    • Background in education (teaching or edtech, K-12 or higher ed space) is helpful, but not required
