As the Marketing Specialist, you will be involved in creating content to position and communicate the benefits of Collabora Productivity’s products and services worldwide. Collabora Productivity is looking for an energetic and self-reliant individual who possesses the right mix of creativity and operational know-how required to accelerate our business growth.

Collabora Productivity is the world leader in multi-platform LibreOffice products and development, counting some of the most significant names in technology amongst its customers and partners. 

Main Responsibilities

    • Produce written product marketing materials of the highest quality
    • Grow, shape and improve the existing Wordpress-based website
    • Help develop and execute Collabora Productivity long-term marketing strategy
    • Deliver other marketing activities within an agreed budget

Required skills and experience

    • 5 years professional experience in marketing
    • Highly effective remote working requiring limited supervision
    • Successful past experience producing rich, written product marketing content
    • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English
    • Creative, rapid and accurate copy writing and proofing skills in English
    • Ability to experiment with competing products, and build product comparisons.

Desirable

    • Basic graphics design skills
    • Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) community awareness
    • Business or marketing-related degree
    • Power-user skills with Office Productivity Software such as LibreOffice
    • Strong Presentation & communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task and communicate results to management
    • Experience with Gimp, Inkscape, Scribus or similar
