Job Summary

Collabora is looking for a Project Coordinator to support our Project Managers to successfully deliver projects. As a member of the Delivery team, you will work closely with globally distributed project teams to coordinate projects on a day to day basis. Your involvement with the projects will begin early in the life-cycle, when you will be supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, and you will continue with the projects through to their successful delivery to clients, and hopefully follow-up sales. The role will be based in our Cambridge, UK office, or remotely in the GMT or CET time zones.  

Key Responsibilities

    • Manage project tasks such as:
    • - Time-sheets submission and approval
      - Projects set-up
      - Projects control
      - Weekly Project Reports
      - Invoices preparation
      - Project equipment tracking, purchasing and shipping
      - Set-up customer access accounts for internal systems

    • Manage small projects
    • Maintain a dynamic work-board to show the current tasks status and their priority
    • Manage a task backlog to provide the right level of services to projects
    • Identify improvements to processes
    • Documentation of processes
    • Assist Project Managers with internal business and process improvement projects

Required Skills

    • Experience working with remote teams in diverse multiple time-zones
    • Experience of agile methodology
    • Proven track record with project tracking and coordination
    • Excellent organisational skills with a commitment to quality and attention to detail
    • Good negotiation skills to prioritize task backlog with Project Managers
    • Proactive and friendly with good influential skills to get the work done
    • Good numeracy skills
    • Advanced experience with spreadsheets
    • Proficient in Office software
    • Proficient with project management tools
    • Self-motivated learning 

Desirable Skills

    • Engineering and technology background
    • Experience using LibreOffice/CollaboraOffice
    • Experience using various open source software and Linux desktop
    • Experience working in an ISO-9001 environment

Qualifications

    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
    • Good bachelor’s degree
