Our expanding F&SCM team is actively looking for a skilled Dynamics AX D365 F&SCM Support Functional Consultant to join us.
As a Dynamics 365 F&SCM Support Technical Consultant, you will be working on managed services projects and providing level 2 support for different clients. Your role will involve debugging a variety of technical issues to determine the root cause of problems and collaborating with different teams, including level 3 support, technical architects, and internal functional consultants. To be successful in this role, you will need to depend on your broad knowledge of D365 F&SCM and related technologies to resolve technical incidents quickly and effectively. You will be responsible for responding to priority tasks promptly and effectively.

Key position responsibilities:

    • Developing customizations for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management and previous Microsoft Dynamics AX versions
    • Extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions according to functional design documentation
    • Providing level 2 system support in managed services projects and collaborating with level 3 support and implementation teams as required
    • Communicating effectively with users and service owners to understand their requirements and providing technical solutions that resolve priority issues
    • Being responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues reported by end users
    • Participating in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management/AX upgrade projects, including: merging the code between different AX versions, data migration of databases, testing, and suggesting future improvements
    • Designing and developing reports for D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management/AX based on MS SQL Server Reporting Services technology
    • Occasionally doing standby support for certain customers

What we expect from you:

    • 2+ years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/Dynamics 365 F&SCM products
    • Good understanding of the integrations and data management framework in Dynamics 365 F&SCM
    • Basic functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM/AX standard solutions
    • Experience working with a variety of Dynamics 365 F&SCM customers and developing their solutions
    • Understanding of Server Reporting Services reports and the ability to design and develop effective reports for Dynamics 365 F&SCM
    • Basic knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage
    • General understanding of the Bring Your Own Database (BYOD) process flow so you can troubleshoot issues that might arise
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to Dynamics 365 F&SCM
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL server that will be used to investigate data issues
    • Good spoken and written English
    • Willingness to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Good communication skills
