About the Role:
 
The Resource Management (RM) team at Compass Lexecon partners with the business to ensure the effective allocation of people and projects. We play a key role in balancing business needs with employee development, helping to provide meaningful work opportunities across the firm. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with RM team members and business stakeholders to understand resourcing needs.
    • Responding to resourcing requests and helping to allocate resources effectively.
    • Building relationships across teams by liaising with colleagues and addressing queries.
    • Updating Retain, our resource management system, with new projects, leave requests, and booking extensions.
    • Supporting the monitoring of capacity and utilisation levels, flagging issues where needed.
    • Maintaining team files and documentation.

Experience:

    • 1–2 years’ experience in resource management, professional services resourcing, or a related role.
    • Familiarity with Retain or other resourcing tools.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Team player with a collaborative approach.
    • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
    • An interest in developing knowledge of the professional services sector.
    • An additional European language is a plus but not required.
