We are currently seeking a staff accountant to join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing general ledger accounting and bank reconciliations, assisting in month-end and year-end close, preparing journal entries, maintaining fixed asset system, billing accounts receivable and accounts payable. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operation accounting and finance function are a must.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following):

Reconciles the general operating account and payroll bank statement and enters cash journals into the general ledger.
Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts.
Coordinates and maintains customer billings and reports; verifies all billings are complete and reconciled to the general ledger.
Maintains accounts payable processes, verifies and reconciles invoices to purchase orders, pays vendors and responds to vendor enquiries.
Verifies employee expense reports and process payments.
Maintain fixed asset system, which includes preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger to fixed assets system, and preparation of depreciation schedules for budgeting purposes.
Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and asset
Assists with reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts.
Perform various ad hoc projects including researching, analyzing and summarizing data/analysis as assigned.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

    • Must have at least 1 - 3 years of accounting experience.
    • Must have experience with Microsoft excel.
    • Must have strict attention to detail, strong numeracy and analytical skills.
    • Must be able to work independently and in team setting.
    • Bachelor’s degree (B.S or B.A) in Accounting or Finance required.
