Who We're Looking For
We’re excited to add a Technical Architect to our Modern Workplace team. In this role, you’ll work with a team of customer-focused professionals who are committed to defining technical strategy, architecting, designing and delivering end-to-end digital transformation. You’ll demonstrate strong technical competence and business acumen through engaging in technology decision-making discussions related to agility and business value surrounding M365 and cloud-based workplace solutions. You’ll empower other consultants by sharing subject matter expertise in large enterprise implementations, as well as overseeing delivery of large, complex, and strategic projects for enterprise customers.
What You'll Do
- Work with clients to understand their business problems, generate technical architecture, and assist in setting solution scope while leading the client to a higher state of maturity.
- Lead in Mergers & Acquisitions: (M&A) projects, including O365 product movement, Microsoft licensing, security, compliance, end-point management.
- Provide expertise in Azure services to facilitate the integration of IT systems during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining security and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess security risks, and design scalable solutions.
- Implement and manage Azure security best practices, staying updated with the latest security threats and industry trends.
- Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including role-based access controls (RBAC) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Act as a subject matter expert in Azure Sentinel, creating custom queries, alerts, and dashboards to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during M&A activities, ensuring the secure integration of IT systems and data.
- Author functional requirements and detailed technical design documentation.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other Architects and Engineers.
- Collaborate with functional teams to plan project sprints, scope, and resource allocation.
- Manage project milestones, ensuring timely solution delivery.
What You'll Need
- Passion for aligning technical solutions to customer and business needs.
- Extensive experience as an Azure Architect with a strong emphasis on Conditional Access, Security, Identity Management, Sentinel, and M&A.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing IAM solutions and Conditional Access policies in Azure.
- Experience in continuing and enhancing the maturity of the M365 enterprise environments.
- Ability to Design and implement robust Conditional Access policies to ensure secure and compliant access to Azure resources.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security architecture for Azure environments, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Drive the implementation and optimization of Azure Sentinel, leveraging its capabilities for advanced threat hunting, detection, and response. Develop custom detection rules and playbooks.
- Proven experience with Quest or similar migration tools.
- Broad understanding of on premise, online and hybrid architecture.
- Experience leading and executing within an Agile project methodology.

What Will Set You Apart
- Experience in facilitating webinars/workshops and being able to guide participants through a technical journey with IT Leadership and Business Executives.
- Prior participation at industry conferences, seminars, and other speaking engagements.
- Knowledgeable in leveraging PowerShell for system monitoring, log analysis, and event handling to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure components, networking, and security principles relevant to AVD deployments.
