About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic BDR Manager to build and lead our new Business Development Representative (BDR) team. This role will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a distributed team of BDRs. The team’s mandate is to qualify inbound leads from paid campaigns, conduct outbound prospecting when needed, and ensure only high-quality opportunities are handed off to our sales team.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, has experience managing high-performing BDR or SDR teams, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
Required Qualifications
Team Leadership & Management
- Hire, train, and coach a team of remote BDRs.
- Define team KPIs and ensure consistent achievement of lead qualification and pipeline targets.
- Create scalable processes for call scripts, messaging, and qualification frameworks.
Pipeline Generation & Qualification
- Oversee inbound lead qualification from paid campaigns, ensuring high-quality handoff to Account Executives.
- Build and refine outbound prospecting strategies when needed.
- Partner closely with Marketing to optimize lead flow and with Sales to ensure smooth pipeline transitions.
Operations & Reporting
- Implement tools and workflows for call tracking, CRM updates, and reporting.
- Deliver regular performance reporting on conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
- Manage team budget, capacity planning, and productivity benchmarks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing leadership to align messaging and campaigns with BDR outreach.
- Partner with Sales leadership to align qualification criteria and ensure a seamless lead handoff process.
- Provide feedback from the field to inform campaign optimization, messaging, and product positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal & written).
- Experience managing a BDR team, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or high-growth startup environments.
- Proven track record of building remote teams and hitting pipeline targets.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Skilled in coaching reps on cold calls, email outreach, and discovery conversations.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate, coach, and hold a remote team accountable while fostering a supportive culture.
- Mindset: Data-driven, process-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
