About Conduktor

Real-time data is revolutionising our lives. Think of the Conduktor platform as the ultimate command centre for all things Kafka: whether that's managing clusters, monitoring data streams, or debugging issues, Conduktor aims to help teams work faster and with fewer headaches. We have hubs in London and New York, and we are looking for people who are excited by our mission and who want to share this journey with us.

About the Role:

We are looking for an outgoing People Operations Coordinator to join our London HQ to help our office run seamlessly and create a great environment for our team to work in. In this role, you’ll support and improve the day-to-day experience for employees, and support a wide variety of tasks across operations. We are looking for someone with an upbeat attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your positivity will be key in enhancing employee engagement, and you’re excited to get rolling your sleeves up to make things happen!

You will be working onsite three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What will you be doing?

    • Looking after the admin and facilities management of our WeWork office to ensure the office runs seamlessly
    • Being the key point of contact for UK employees and managing and resolving their requests efficiently and effectively
    • Helping to promote positive company culture and intra-company engagement, by supporting the Ops team in organising various team events and meetings such as our annual offsite
    • Supporting a fantastic onboarding experience for new starters. We want everyone to experience a smooth first week, to feel welcomed, and to make sure they have everything they need to start their role with Conduktor
    • Supporting all lifecycle processes including role changes and leavers
    • We’re a growing team and we will need practical support for future office moves
    • Recording and organising data on our HRIS (we use BambooHR)
    • Supporting the delivery of global People processes including performance reviews and benefit programs

What experience are we looking for?

    • You have experience working for a fast paced organisation or a start-up. We move quickly, and days can be chaotic! Keeping a calm head and embracing the ambiguity is key to success in this role
    • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can develop strong relationships with any stakeholder no matter their seniority
    • You’re confident and willing to work on new problems or projects. Being proactive and positive in this role is essential
    • You have strong organisational and administrative skills and you know that paying attention to the little details is important

Nice to have

    • You’re familiar with HR software and tools such as BambooHR and Docusign
