About the role
We are looking for a Finance Assistant with solid accounting knowledge, a strong sense of ownership and the drive to get stuck in and learn quickly. This is our second finance hire, reporting into our Head of Finance, so will have a huge impact on shaping the finance team at Conduktor.
What will you be doing?
- Overseeing the processing of employee expenses and supplier invoices, ensuring correct categorisation of all expenses.
- Responsible for accounts receivable, including customer invoices, customer supplier platforms and cash collection.
- Creating bank and balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet items to ensure records are accurate and audit-ready.
- Supporting financial planning and data analysis, including review of actuals to budget and production of monthly management reports.
- Helping with transforming the finance function into a value adding machine, assisting on the implementation and evolution of scalable systems and processes.
What experience are we looking for?
- 2-4 years of experience working within a finance function
- Actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACAStrong Excel and G-Sheet skills (comfortable with data reporting/manipulation)
- A proactive communicator who is detail-orientated and organised
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
Nice to have
- Worked within a fast-paced environment and/or US operating organisation
- Experience using our current software stack: Xero, Ramp, Cledara, ScaleXP, Brex
- SaaS experience
- Multi-entity experience
